Waking up from a nap, I tried to remember a time when I didn’t take naps. When I worked in business I took naps.

Mostly when I traveled. Flying United Airlines provided a fabulous time to take a nap. I didn’t need a long one, twenty minutes did it. It still does it.

Whatever life I have in the present always seems so normal. Life like its always been.

For example, I am confident I never lived without an iPad or iPhone. Well, that may change now.

I plan to get a Fire Phone from Amazon. It depends only on AT&T. The last time they were the “provider” they couldn’t provide coverage where we live.

Important now that we no longer have a land line. Did we ever?

I wonder if in ten years the younger crowd will any more know what a land line is than they will a group called The Supremes. You know them, right?

I think that naps are so wonderful, and as we get older, they are a blessing!

Agree in spirit, but haven’t they always been a blessing? If not, what were they before? : >)

PS: Very tricky Kim, I centered on the word blessing rather than older. Denial?

        Not denial, wisdom lol

I don’t know what a fire phone is but I think that land lines may well eventually become a thing of the past. Happy napping. The only time I nap is the minute I sit in front of the television the eyes close. Luckily I don’t do that until after 7.30pm.

I am surprised to hear you say you nap at all. Your life looks very physically active. At 7:30 pm I am thinking about sleep, not nap.

I grew up listening to the Supremes and could easily live without a cell phone. At least I think so-they’ve taken away all the pay phones.

Now there is an even stranger sounding name, pay what?

I have a land line. I don’t have a cell phone. I don’t have an iPad. My land line has audible both of us can hear and never drops the call. It’s really good for doing what phones used to do: make phone calls!

I hate to admit it Marilyn, but that actually makes sense.
