At each birthday we all become “short” timers

Good point, I am going to stop having them.

Some days make me feel a shorter timer than others; yet the truth remains that I, like all, am a short timer. I need to remember the story of the oil that burnt for eight days instead of one and to try and fill each day w/more than one day’s worth.

Live as if we ARE the fly on the wall. Here today, gone tomorrow. How do we live with the noose but not feel it?

I want to participate, not be the fly on the wall (even if the reference has been repurposed by me).

Some of us call observing participating.
