Day 65: Daffodils

If we fill the Internet with spring, maybe it will come to reality net.

“And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.”
― William Wordsworth

65 days down…300 to go! I won’t pretend it seems more manageable that way, but getting to 65 days feels like some kind of milestone at least. Lately I’ve been blogging early in the morning, because it’s light enough to take photographs. Fairly soon I will go back to seeing what the day will give me in terms of photography but for now I’ve been quite lucky.

So today is Daffodils – which I didn’t realise were actually called ‘Narcissus.’ I chose the quote from the Poem ‘Daffodils’ by William Wordsworth. It wouldn’t have had the same effect if he had titled it ‘Narcissus’ all those years ago… I still aim to one day find this whole field of Daffodils that Wordsworth talks about – then we’d have some decent photos!

    Ah, Spring !
When I was in grade school we memorized this poem. Fun to realized I still remember some of it.
