Sublimity

Sublimity the Oxford English Dictionary defines as nobility or greatness of nature, character, or conduct; moral, spiritual, or intellectual excellence; perfection.

What, if anything, comes to mind for you?

Personally, I stay away from perfection. It brings on too much pressure.

P=P.  Perfection equals Pressure.

Good for you, bad for me. I want YOU to be perfect.

I want to swing, catch a breeze, sing what comes to me, let go, be a changeling.

Not fair, you say?

Right you are, it’s an imperfect world and I contribute my fair share.

Only in my world am I sublime.

    Thinking you are sublime may be the first step to perfection. It is not necessary for you to think so, Others will decide if you have reached that level.

      You pick up my irony completely, you always do. You are perfect.

    Perfection…so unattainable, drives people mad thinking it exists. I prefer to be my imperfect self, and loving my imperfection!

      Kim, I think that works well. On this one, we subscribe to the same philosophies. Or so I hear it.
